It all started with a nagging soar throat. During Covid times it took almost six months to get a throat specialist to look at it. After having my tonsils removed a biopsy indicated CANCER! Off to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre I went. Further testing revealed an additional tumor in the right superior constrictor muscle (I had a sore jaw), I was now a T3 guy!

During my intense treatment program, I was so grateful for all the amazing individuals at Princess Margaret I also realized I was very lucky as there were so many other patients in worse stages of cancer than me.

I continued to be positive but knew my life would be changed forever. I realized I would have to retire from my previous profession (talking for a living). I wondered; what could I do that I love to keep busy while helping others?

During treatment, I longed for nature and the outdoors. I came up with the idea of helping people enjoy camping who might not be able to due to various circumstances, and this is when the idea for EZ 2 Love Adventures was born.

Jill and I worked through various business ideas but I still felt we could do more! How could we show our gratitude to Princess Margaret and help “conquer cancer”?

This is when we chose to make Princess Margaret a staple of our business and decided a significant portion of our sales from EZ 2 Love Adventures will be donated to Princess Margaret forever!

Hence … “CAMPING FOR CANCER”
